Did you know that just 20 ml of wheatgrass juice is the nutritional equivalent of over one kg of fresh fruit and vegetables. It really is that simple!

4kg of wheatgrass seeds is easily enough to grow 16 trays (1st and 2nd cutting). An average tray yields around 8 shots of wheatgrass juice that your local juice bar will charge you around $2.50 per shot. This works out to around $0.43 per shot. Also the juice bar often will use old cut wheatgrass to save time, on average your juice should be cut and drank within 7-8 minutes of juicing before it loses its potency...

1 x Fertilizer Sprout's Liquid Seaweed for Wheatgrass and Vegetables is a specially formulated fertiliser for use on wheatgrass and vegetables. It contains seaweed extract made from freshly collected storm cast Australian Bull Kelp, blended with a range of macronutrients and trace elements that help to produce healthy growth.
4 x Food-grade Plastic Seedling Trays Most wheatgrass and seedling growers use non-food grade plastic seedling trays which has the potential to release chemical substances that contains toxins into the potting mix or soil. For this reason we have sourced food-grade, non toxic, quality plastic seedling trays for growing our wheatgrass.Tray Dimensions: 28cm wide x 32cm long x 6cm high
1x Sprouting Jar These sprouting jars specially manufactured for wheatgrass growers, however they are very effective for sprouting all types of seeds including alfalfa, mung beans, sunflower seeds, broccoli seeds, radish seeds, just to name a few. The glass jar (750ml) is the perfect size for germinating enough grain for one seedling tray and it is also ideal for many other sprouts. The lids are a food-grade plastic with a stainless steel mesh inserted into the top for easy rinsing.
4 Kg Certified Organic Wheat Organic new seasonal wheats are being constantly tested so that you can grow the best quality, mould free, juicy wheatgrass possible. It is important to us to only use certified organic or certified biodynamic wheat grain .
Bleach-free paper Enough bleach-free paper is supplied in our kits to line 20 seedling trays. The paper is cut to perfectly fit our seedling trays. Beware of advice to line trays with newspaper or butchers paper as this can leech bleach and ink into your potting mix which is then taken up by the roots.

FAQ's

Why purchase from us, why don't I just go and buy all the items I need?
Good question! The answer is simple, you can. However typically to purchase all the items you need you'd visit at least 3 different shops who may or may not have what you need in stock. We will supply the entire kit delivered to your door with no need to purchase any other items.

What is the real value of the kits?
This kit will be able to provide approximately 128 wheatgrass shots. Typically a shot retails for around $2.00 to $3.00 in the shops. If we average $2.50 per shot then the value of the kit would be $320.00 Also consider that a typical retail outlet may pre-cut your wheatgrass and store it before juicing, not an ideal scenario as the product loses a lot of its nutrient value. Also consider that when the shop juices your grass they put it back into the same container used 10 minutes ago, therefore providing much older and less value juice. Basically to cut, juice and drink asap is the solution.

Growing the wheatgrass could be hard work.
It could be however half the fun and enjoyment is growing your own (the typical scenario, setting up and sowing the seeds 5-10 minutes, daily watering around 1-2 minutes). Wheatgrass is easy and fun to grow plus not only does it look great but its health value is amazing.

Can I settle for second best and use non organic soil and seeds.
Yes you could, however be aware of what the non organic soil contains in the way of chemicals and additives and other nasty by products and then consider if you'd be happy to put this into your body!
